Scientific Name Notes Synonyms according to Jones & Bray (1994). Fuhrmann (1920) proposed that most (i.e., 88) of the species of Davainea known at that time be transferred to the new genus Raillietina (although he referrred to it as a nomen novum); 81 of them in one of 4 subgenera. The species he proposed to include in each were explicitly indicated by reference to list appearing in that paper.
