Redescription
Scientific Name Notes This species was considered to be a species inquirenda by Jensen (2005). The name was first used in an abstract published in 1990. The abstract included a brief statement of diagnostic features said to distinguish it from "other known species of Tetragonocephalum." No measurements were presented except for the number of testes (i.e., 18). The features listed do not allow this taxon to be positively identified as a member of Tetragonocephalum. More importantly, for nomenclatural purposes, abstracts do not constitute published work (ICZN, Art. 9) and the name is therefore a nomen nudum (i.e, unavailable).
