Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Rausch et al. (2010) concuded that the cestode described by Cholodkovsky was indeed a species of Bothriocephalidae, and consider that the fragment of strobila studied by him was probably the remains of a cestode from a fish that had been recently eaten by the seal.
