Host Notes Type host not designated by van Beneden (1858), but holotype is from Raja clavata (=Raia rubus) (as per Beveridge & Campbell [2007]). van Beneden (1858) lists the following as other hosts: Lophius piscatorius and Gadus morrhua (peritoneum). Found in umerous other rays and teleosts. See Palm (2004) and Beveridge & Campbell (2007); host info. taken from Tetrarhynchus erinaceus.
