Redescription
Scientific Name Notes It was originally described as a subspecies of Echinobothrium lateroporum Subhapradha, 1948 (currently a nomen nudum) by Reimer (1975), and Chandra (1983) reported it as a species, E. nigracanthum. In Fig. 1 the name is misspelled as E. nigracantha.
