Scolex, completely developed in a pregravid specimen, showing typical form when relaxed (paratype); note the relatively large fleshy auricular appendages that are not confluent across the anterior margin of the bothridia and remnants of the apical pedicle or point attachment of apical sucker in the plerocercoid.
