Specimen Notes "Specimens of Pintneriella musculicola described by Yamaguti (1934, 1952) were borrowed from the Meguro Parasitological Museum, Tokyo (MPM). These consisted of a paratype (22867), a plerocercus with no tentacles everted, from Chrysophyrys auratus and two additional specimens (22869) used in the redescription 74 of the species by Yamaguti (1952)." - Beveridge & Campbell, 2000
