Host Notes Type host not designated by Southwell 1929); Beveridge & Campbell (1998) restricted the type series (syntypes) to specimens from A. pristipoma and C. guttatum. Southwell (1929) also based the original description on speciemns from Lethrinus ornatus and Balistes stellatus. However, Beveridge & Campbell (1998) considered the latter specimens to belong to different genera. Palm (2004) lists Gymnura australis as an additional host.
