Partly diagrammatic. 41. Proboscis, middle; diamter, exclusive of hooks, 0.04 mm. 42. Proboscis, near apex; diameter, exclusive of hooks, 0.04 mm. 43. Segment toward posterior end of strobile; length 1 mm. Abbreviations: b. Muscular bulbs, whose use is to evert the proboscides by pressure on fluid with which they are filled; c. Cirrus; o.
