Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Van Beneden (1871) lists this species as parasitizing “Raia clavata”; no new species designation or description of the species is given and only the scolex was illustrated; however, this seems to be the first mention of this name Euzet (1994) considers this genus to be a synonym of Echeneibothrium.
