Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Deshmukh et al. (1983), although they refer to figures, fail to present figures of this species. The description is superficial and indicates spinitriches ("minute spines") are "absent either on scolex or on the neck region" (pg. 106). The vitelline follices are indicated to be lateral (a feature inconsistent with the diagnosis of the genus). No mention is made of type material. The species is thus considered a Species inquirenda.
