Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Ruhnke (2011) stated that the type host for the species was identified as "Ikan patin", listed as Pangasisus sp. by Wong (2003). Euzet (1994) stated that the morphology of the species was suggestive of a proteocephalidean and considered this taxon a genus inquirendum.
