| Scientific Name Notes | Euzet (1952) proposed the new name Platybothrium baeri for “Tetrabothrium aus Carcharias Rondeleti Wagener 1854 pro parte (fig. 270-271); Cylindrophorus typicus Diesing, 1963 pro parte; Cylindrophorus typicus (Diesing), Southwell, 1925”; Euzet used 2 individuals and a detached nongravid segment from Carcharhinus glaucus caught at Naples, Italy in the characterization of this species |
