Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Schmidt (1986) uses the name Phylobothroides spinulifera Southwell, 1912 (on page 137); we find no reference to the name Phylobothroides spinulifera in Southwell (1912); rather he describes a new species, Playbothrium spinulifera, in that paper; we believe the use of the name Phylobothroides spinulifera (also an incorrect spelling) by Schmidt (1986) to be an error
