| Scientific Name Notes | It is possible that Leidy (1890) may have been the first to use this combination [PNAS, 1890, pg. 418]. Ruhnke (2011) considered Taenia loliginus a species inquirendum. Unsure of whether authority should be (Leidy, 1887) Leidy, 1890, considering Leidy 1890 does indicate the specimen of loliginis is either Tetrabothrium OR Phyllobothrium (B. Barbeau, 2021) |
