Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Southwell (1925) synonomizes Crossobothrium with Phyllobothrium, thereby inherently creating the new combination Phyllobothrium laciniatum (Linton 1889) without publishing the binomen in his list of species referred to the genus Phyllobothrium; Yamaguti (1952) uses this combination, and although he doesn’t explicitly indicate that it is a new combination, we find this to be the first use of this combination
