Scientific Name Notes no figures in original description of Van Beneden, 1849 as far as we can determine Diesing is the author of the name Orygmatobothrium and1863 is the date of his first use of this generic name; he does not formally make the combination Orygmatobothrium musteli, but rather lists Anthobothrium musteli Van Beneden, 1849 under the section of Orygmatobothrium versitile Diesing, 1863 no figures in original description of Van Beneden, 1849 see Van Beneden (1850) for a more complete description (incl. figures) of this species see Woodland, 1927
