| Scientific Name Notes | Jensen and Caira (2006) suggested that the metascolex structures of Myzocephalus, along with those of Rhoptrobothrium Shipley and Hornell, 1906 and Myzophyllobothrium Shipley and Hornell, 1906 were cephalic peduncle extensions they termed remi. Thus, they considered these morphological extensions to be non-homologous to those of Thysanocephalum. |
