Redescription
Scientific Name Notes -These same authors later published a more complete description of this genus and new species in 1980 -Jones (1994) synonymized Pseudoschistotaenia with Schistotaenia, but did not explicitly make new combinations of Pseudoschistotaenia species; in doing so it appears that she created a homonym ofSchistotaenia indica Johri, 1959
