Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Shinde & Chincholikar (1977) described these worms as being “single segmented and devoid of digestive system...The scolex is absent or any type of attaching organs (i.e. proboscis, suckers) are absent.” It is clear that these “worms” are segments of a tapeworm, possibly a proteocephalidean.
