| Scientific Name Notes | Johnston (1909) originally described this species in Ichthyotaenia (pgs. 110-111) but several pages later (pg. 115) rediagnosed Acanthotaenia von Linstow, 1903 and transferred I. tidswelli Johnston, 1909 to the latter genus. |
