Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Mackiewicz (1962) considered L. alestesi to be a synonym of L. filiformis: Khalil (1969) regarded its validity as uncertain, the descrition having been based on a single mounted specimen, broken into fragments and badly preserved. A study of holotype by T. Scholz confirmed conspecificity with L. filiformis (unpubl. data).
