Redescription
Scientific Name Notes -Johri (1963) synonymized Progynotaenia longicirrata with Progynotaenia odhneri, and states that since Progynotaenia leucura is a synonym of Progynotaenia longicirrata, P. leucura also becomes a synonym of P. odhneri -while date on the date of the publication says 1959, the issue of the Journal was not issued until 1960
