Redescription
Scientific Name Notes -Spasskii (1946) proposed this name as a “nomen novum” for Clerc’s 1906 specimens of Biuterina meropina, which he believed represented a species other than Biuterina meropina (Krabbe, 1869) Clerc, 1906? . No homonym was involved. In fact, Spasskii’s use of this name represents the first use of Biuterina clerci. -synonymy according to Georgiev, Vasileva, Bray & Gibson (2004)
