Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Herdmann & Hornell (1906) used “Aphanobothrium n.gen.” attributing it to a quote from a letter from Seurat. A type species was not given. Seurat (1906) later that year described this taxon under the name Tylocephalum margaritiferae. Jensen (2005) considered this genus to be a nomen nudum.
