Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Jensen and Russell (2014) state "Although MacCallum (1917) was the first to use the name Tenia [sic], it is likely to be a misspelling of the cyclophyllidean genus, Taenia Linnaeus, 1758; there is no indication that MacCallum (1917) intended to erect a new genus for this species."
