Redescription
Scientific Name Notes This is 1 of several species of Polypocephalus described from “Trygon sephen” from India; it is unlikely that all of the species from this host are distinct, diagnosable species. The description (incl. illustrations) of this species is poor and incomplete, and based on less than a handful of specimens. In addition, the lack of access to types renders this species essentially unrecognizable; it is thus considered to be species inquirenda.
