| Host Notes | Rees (1961) stated that the type host for E. brachysoma was Raja batis. However, nowhere in Pintner's (1889) description of E. brachysoma is the type host given. The only indication of the host provided by Pintner (1889. pg. 397) is in the key, where the host for E. brachysoma, E. affine and E. typus are collectively referred to as "Rochenarten" (Tyler, 2006). |
