Type Material Holotype: single complete strobila with scolex on one slide, MHNG-PLAT-122069 (field number: 75/46), specimen labelled: ex Glis glis, No. 73, vicinities of Belogradchik, Bulgaria, 19.ix.1963, coll. T. Genov. Paratypes from the type-locality and the type-host: 4 complete specimens and fragments of 3 additional strobilae in 8 slides, nos. MHNG-PLAT-122067 (field nos. 75/5; 75/38; 75/48); IBER-BAS C-0159.2.1-2.3 (field nos. 75/41; 75/42; 75/57); ISEA TG63#3-4 (field nos. 75/55; 75/69) (all with the same collecting data as the holotype). Additional paratypes from the type-host but from another locality: 2 complete specimens and fragments of 2 additional strobilae, 4 slides, nos. MHNG-PLAT-122068 (field nos. 75/3; 75/14); IBER-BAS C-0159.2.4-2.5 (field nos. 75/8; 75/9), all from Berkovitsa, 9.xii.1963, coll. T. Genov.
