Redescription
Scientific Name Notes Specimens from Eliomys quercinus originally misidentified as H. myoxi by Baer (1932) were described as Armadolepis jeanbaeri (Makarikov, 2017). The taxonomy has potentially been confused as Spassky (1954) designated misidentified specimens of H. myoxi sensu Baer (1932) as the type species of the genus Armadolepis. Subsequently this error was corrected and A. jeanbaeri n. sp. was fixed as the type of the genus Armadolepis.
