Scientific Name Notes Given that type material was neither designated nor deposited for this species described after 1999, Article 16.4 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN 1999) is violated. This name thus is unavailable for nomenclatural purposes. Several different spellings appear for this new name throughout the original description. It is also not clear if, in addition to the type host, this species was recovered from Rhynchobatus djeddensis.
