Redescription
Scientific Name Notes -Nybelin (1922, 104) considers this as probably belonging to the Anoplocephalidea, but as the presence of two bothridia and scattered vitelline follicles in the cortical parenchyma definitely place it outside the Cyclophyllidea in appears best to retain the original name until further information be obtained (from Meggitt 1924). -it seems to be accidental infection of Bothridium sp. (Diphyllobothriidea), commonly distributed in Africa (Kuchta)
