Scientific Name Notes Beveridge et al. (2004) excluded this species from the genus Progrillotia and suggested that it be placed in Grillotia. Palm (2004) renamed it provisionally as Grillotia (Progrillotia) dollfusi. Redescribed by Pereira & Boeger (2005). Menoret & Ivanov (2009) redescribed the species and moved it into the genus Grillotia. In order to avoid homonymy with Grillotia dollfusi Carvajal, 1971, they assigned this taxon the new name Grillotia carvajalregorum nom. n. Menoret & Ivanov (2009). Beveridge & Campbell (2010) then redescribed the species again and placed it in the subgenus Christianella. See the redescription of this taxon in Menoret & Ivanov (2009) for light micrographs and SEMs.
